I was wondering what my Bon Voyage counter would say on D DAY and there it is! A hearty Au Revoir!!! ZERO days left! Boarding starts soon!
And by the way.

Oh. My. God.

Do I already have stories for you all. There isn't a situation comedy on T.V. that's got a thing on me!!! Fuhgeddaboutit Hollywood, my material is unsurpassed. I've embarked as only Kimba can.

Stories at an airport? You're not getting renditioned and this is all a CIA hoax to weed out insurrectionists, is it?

No we' won't let the smart funny ones emigrate. Brings down our collective IQ.

By emigrate I mean leave here for someplace better.

I can't wait to read about your adventures. Just collect the posts from the other side in a binder and soon you'll have a book to rival "At Home in France" by Anne Barry.

hi there. i'm alive again. I saw your counter and got worried when i saw "364 days"! I'm catching up on my blog reading, but am looking forward to hearing about your adventure. You'll see on my blog update, but there's been a change of location - we're going to Nice instead of Paris.

OK, where are you? In Brantôme, of course! How are your doggies? How are you? How was the trip? Have you had your first pain au chocolat in the corner café? How was the flight? How was the drive? How is Bastille Day celebrated in Brantôme. Le Framéricain is going to be hot on your trail on Sept 25th. He's flying out to CDG and driving down to Le Blanc to start working on the new window project!!!

Can't wait to hear from you. Hope you find a cybercafé quick. We miss you already but I know you'll be up and running soon and regaling us with stories of the life of Mme Mancha, newly of le Périgord!

à bientôt,

RG-ha, ha. good material for an episode!

U.S. - guess that makes me one of the dullards!

LF-I'm working on it~

Stephanie! Nice is lovely, I of course adore the 'old vielle' but there is much to be said about that region. Good to see you back online.

wcs-Thanks!

LF-boo, when are you going to be accompanying Monsieur? I am at the hotel, they have internet in the little lobby and hopefully back up in my room by tomorrow.
