had a bit of trouble with slide, but can see that your house is so lovely and it is such a great find...how exciting that you get to discover all the treasures and make it your own. i can't wait to see it in person.

So far, so good! Not that we're actually seeing the blood sweat and tears of the physical labor. Heh heh.

Stacey-can't wait to welcome you and show you the discoveries in person!

OJL-sorry about the slides. It will make a great before/after story...the house is filled with beautiful elements all masked under years of neglect or *cough* modernization. You'll see, soon!

AK-well thanks, it is now in certain ways and will be more so over time.

RG-I can't remember when I have been so continuously exhausted! Daily physical labor better be good for the soul...or at least my waistline!

It all looks just fantastic and really lovely. Hopefully, you will establish a pace of work that will allow you to advance at a steady clip while leaving you with time to relax, enjoy your surroundings, and write. All work and no play might make you skinny but it will also almost certainly make you grumpy!!! Besides, it's very French to take holidays, breaks, and vacations!

Beautiful discoveries!
